Thank You For Supporting Us This Year

2022 is coming at us full throttle and while we may be desperate to show 2021 the door, let’s pause a moment to reflect on what you and Villa Kitty achieved.

In January we signed the contract on our 20 year lease of the site for the new Villa Kitty shelter. Because of you, we were able to commit to a bold vision for a brighter future.

By March we had the plans and costs: clearly this was never going to be a simple build! The following months saw our dreams slowly become reality, with innumerable challenges faced and obstacles leapt.

Throughout 2021 your donations enabled our free sterilisation regime to continue. This year, 533 sterilisations have been achieved, 115 more than the previous highest total.

You funded the vaccinations of 973 cats and kittens, some from families who had no money to contribute. Countless lives saved.

Daily we welcome school children to help walk our dogs and spend time with cats who crave their cuddles. You made this program possible.

I pore over the messages that accompany your donations and fill our Facebook and Instagram pages. I read them to our staff who deserve your praise for their work caring for our beautiful Bali cats and kittens and yes, our boisterous security team who earn their keep, our Bali dogs.

2022 will require the same commitment as 2021. Our aim to move all our cats to the new Villa Kitty shelter by 12 January is daunting. What gives us hope in our darkest times is your generosity, your constancy, your belief. Thank you.
