FAQ

What to do if you find a kitten?

Please check around for the mother. If the kitten is in a safe place, a non-obvious place that a mother just may have left the kitten/s and you are able to check on the kitten/s then please leave them.

If the kitten/s are in temple grounds or obvious areas, on the road, in the garbage, they have been dumped. Please do not leave them. Pick them up and bring them to Villa Kitty or your nearest vet clinic. We work with Sunset Vet Clinics in Ubud and Kuta.

Do you accept visitors?

We love having visitors.

Visiting days: Wednesday to Saturday 10am – 4pm and Sundays 11am – 3pm

How do I apply to foster?

Fostering saves lives! Yes we would love you to foster a kitten or three. We do call for foster families so the kittens are not in our shelter whilst they go through their vaccinations process. (Please see Sterilisation & Vaccinations.)

How do I adopt?

Adoptions are the absolute icing on the cake! Adoptions are what we work towards from the day the kittens or cats arrive. We ask people to come in and meet us so we can talk about their home and the safety aspects of caring for kittens. We will support with free sterilisation (Please see Sterilisation & Vaccinations)

What can I bring / donate?

As a shelter we must wash our cat bedding well but we must also do a rinse in bleach. We use a high heat to dry the blankets and bedding in the hope that we kill any viruses that could have survived the bleach. This means nothing lasts long and so we are always in need of blankets, and old towels, any sort of bedding for our cats, kittens and dogs.
