When we first met Livia, she had been brutally savaged by a stray dog, and was unable to move her back legs. At only two months old, this sweet girl had already endured more than any animal ever should.

Thankfully, she was rescued just in time and rushed to Sunset Vet in Ubud, where the vets found that her back legs and tail were completely paralysed. But against all odds, Livia shortly began to show signs of improvement and while she will never be able to regain mobility in her back legs and tail, she blossomed into a bundle of joy and energy.

She was moved to our Special Needs area, where she formed a beautiful bond with sweet Xuoney, another one of our special needs residents.

The two absolutely love to share cuddles and playtime - there’s never a dull moment with these two around!
