Expenses are split into programs and running costs, administration and fundraising which refer to the following:

Programs and running costs refer to cat and dog medicine, food, vet bills, land and lease, shelter expansion, maintenance, electricity, gas, water, laundry, transportation, legal and tax expenses.
Administration refers to staff salaries (40 staff members).
Fundraising refers to website hosting, email service provider and advertising expenses.
