Will you help Yorrick?
I am writing to you today with an urgent plea to help darling Yorrick.
He was found by a local resident suffering quietly but in horrible pain by the side of the road. Yorrick had been viciously attacked with a sharp object and left with a deep cut at the back of his right ear. The kind man who found Yorrick couldn’t afford to pay for his treatment and reached out to Villa Kitty for urgent help.
It was late at night when Yorrick was found, and the closest clinic open at the time was Sunset Vet in Kuta. On arrival at Sunset Vet the vets reported the wound was deep and severely infected with a lot of discharge. It needed to be cleaned under sedation.
Yorrick would need daily antibiotic injections to recover. He is now at Sunset Vet in Ubud, where we can closely monitor his recovery and ensure he continues to receive the medical care he needs and deserves.
Yorrick is not immunised and at a high risk of contracting any other disease. He currently needs all the support we can give him while he fights for a full recovery.

Not only did he suffer incredible physical trauma, but we also suspect he was abandoned by his owners - he is a loving and sociable boy, who loves cuddles and attention.
It breaks our hearts to think of the pain sweet Yorrick must have been in before he was rescued. Yorrick is only two years old, he has his whole life ahead of him. He deserves a future.
