Didi was fighting for her life...

Poor Didi was fighting for her life after an unsterilised male cat jumped over the garden wall and attacked this defenseless baby. Her foster mother had watched in horror as this male cat inflicted deep wounds to her tiny body.

In just a few minutes, Didi’s life took a tragic turn and she needed critical, life-saving care.

When her foster mum rang Villa Kitty, she was desperate for help. Didi was rushed to Sunset Vet in Ubud where she received much needed medical attention and emergency surgery.

The wounds she suffered in the attack caused an abdominal hernia and needed dozens of stitches to be repaired. Didi is now in stable condition at Sunset Vet clinic, but she is not out of the woods yet.

Not only did she suffer a great physical ordeal, but she was also deeply traumatised emotionally. It will take weeks, or even months, for this sweet girl to make a full recovery and she needs your help.

With a kind gift today, you can be by Didi’s side as she continues to fight for a full physical and emotional recovery from this traumatic event. Please make your donation today, Didi needs your help.

While Didi is not the first young kitten to suffer such injuries, she is the first one to survive. She wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for the swift action of her foster mum - and for the support of people like you.

Far too many male cats in Bali are still roaming the streets, unsterilised and unvaccinated. Incidents like Didi’s are not uncommon, but they are preventable.

Neutering and sterilising is key to improve animal welfare, prevent fights and attacks, and stop the spread of disease. Villa Kitty Foundation sterilises FREE of CHARGE all Bali cats so that these horrific attacks do not continue to happen and more kittens like Didi can live the life they deserve, filled with safety, love and comfort.

Our free sterilisation programme is only made possible because of the support of people like you - your donations are the driving force behind our important work. With a kind gift today you will not only help Didi in her recovery but you will also help to create a kinder, safer world for all stray animals in Bali.

Will you please make your life-changing donation today?

Thank you for your unwavering support.
